Awareness Groups for Grieving and Dying
Providing an opportunity to explore the transitions in life

"Our fragmented lives are knit together by giving and yielding ourselves.
Through such grace, we are made whole."
- Julian of Norwich -

Grieving and dying are inextricably intertwined. When we grieve, we experience the death of what we knew ourselves to be. When we die, we are filled with the grief of what is being lost. Yet, by opening to our experience, we discover a new awareness rising from the pain. We begin to ask: "Who am I? What is life about? Will I exist after death?" As we explore these questions, we find our values changing. We become more compassionate towards ourselves and those around us. Peace of mind becomes more a part of our everyday lives. In this group, we explore how to be with loss and change, and open together to the transformation which occurs when we open our hearts to the pain and allow this process to unfold.
